CORONAVIRUS NOTICE
GV Hospice Care Service follow the guidelines as prepared by the Department of Health to ensure we are keeping you, our volunteers and staff safe.
At times this may mean that some areas of our service may be restricted or cannot be provided.
Our specialist nurses and supportive care team are sometimes required to work offsite. We may ask that you leave a message and an appropriate member of our team will return your call. We will restrict our visits to those most at need. We will continue our commitment to support people, at times this will be by phone, ‘checking in with people,’ as many times a week as needed.
We are restricting the number of people who are able to enter the office. Please let a staff member know if you wish to return any equipment by calling 5822 0068
If you have been identified as a person who is Covid positive or a close contact, please ensure you have informed our staff during the pre-visit phone call. We will support people according to their needs who have been tested and are required to isolate.
Please support our community by ensuring if you or a person within your home has any new symptoms such as a fever, difficulty breathing, cough, sore throat or rash you get tested. If you test positive by a rapid antigen test, you must report your result to the Department of Health and isolate for seven days.
